This second clip demonstrates Oral Interpretation.
These videos are examples of people doing various types of dramatic readings and some other stuff. You DO NOT need to watch every second of every video. Just look at some as examples and see how they do it. Find your own examples of good and bad ones and we may discuss and/or watch them in class.

Watch the two videos and think about how they are the same and different. "Analyze" this message in different forms and think about how the meaning is different in different contexts. Who is "us" who is "they" and how does that change? How is reading the lyrics different than listening? Which video appeals to you more? What other type of videos could MJ have made?
I am going to post a lot of stuff on this website over the next several hours! Please watch this first video, the second video is for those that interested Please remember to bring a paper copy of your assignment. I will not accept emailed copies.

I posted a short assignment in the "assignment" tab. Please complete it as soon as possible. I expect that it will take no more than five minutes. If it takes too much longer, you are doing it wrong. Remember to bring proof of your prerequisite on Thursday and obtain the books as soon as possible. |
